Dakota State University invites you to participate in the Dakota Invitational–Karl E. Mundt Oral Interpretation Tournament at DSU in Madison on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Last year we hosted 22 schools (3 AA schools, 11 A schools, and 8 B schools).

Awards:

• Grand Finals:After three preliminary rounds, we will break the top group (goal of 6) to a final round.
• Honor Finals:In events with sufficient entry numbers, we will break the next group (goal of 6) to an Honor Finals.
• Sweepstakes:We will award sweepstakes to the top three Class AA, A, and B schools.

Tournament Schedule: First round will start at 8:45 a.m. Schedules will be posted on Tabroom and throughout campus.We will do three rounds, break for lunch, then have finals and awards scheduled for 3:00PM

A General Meeting will happen in the Trojan Center at 8:15 a.m. to discuss schedule, campus layout and other general items related to the tournament and DSU.

Please check in with me at Trojan Center or call prior to 8:15 a.m. All judges are expected to be available through the finals.

Entry Deadline: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2022 6:00 p.m. Central Time.
